Jump Jam '09

One of my goals is to make the great sport of BMX grow within West Virginia. I am always doing anything that I physically can to promote the race track as well as BMX in general. Last year I came up with the idea of putting on a trail jam (Jump Jam) and spread the word to try and gather some BMX enthusiasts to come out and ride with hopes that one day within the next few years that it would grow into a publicly known event. Well, 2009 marked the 2nd annual Jump Jam and boy did we make some big strides this season. Last year we had no more than 4 riders from Morgantown to Bridgeport show up. This time we had 30 plus riders, anywhere from Maryland to PA, to all over West Virginia. It was a great day of BMX trail action for everyone that showed up. We have BIG plans in the making for 2010 so keep your eyes open for the Jump Jam 2010.
